Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in our Maryland facility. You will assist with basic nursing tasks, monitor vital signs, support patient comfort, and collaborate with the health care team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CNA certification, and BLS certification; one year of CNA experience in an acute care setting is preferred. On-site hours with call for flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of CNA experience in acute care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with attention to hygiene and comfort.
• Assist with admission duties and patient orientation to room.
• Support discharge processes including packing and transportation.
• Monitor vitals, intake/output and data collection per policy.
• Report pain or changes in condition to the nurse.
• Mentor new staff when needed.
