Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in Oshkosh, WI. The role involves assisting RNs with daily activities, recording vitals, and contributing to a safe, clean environment within the Med/Surg unit.

Full-time position, 36 hours per week, day shift 0600-1830 with weekend rotation and holidays. The compensation ranges from $20.80 to $31.20 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing per State Registry.
• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma, or High School Graduate.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding and mobility.
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Stock and maintain nursing area; transport and clean equipment.
