Job summary

Sanford Health in Minnesota is seeking a Part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts in a long-term care setting. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care under RN supervision. Flexible block schedule includes every other weekend.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.
Minimum GED or high school diploma; prior long-term care experience preferred.
Maintains yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.
Satisfactorily completes state CNA requirements and active license/registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide basic health care needs and daily living activities.
Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing.
Support transferring, repositioning, and walking; use proper techniques.
Record vital signs and document resident interactions.
Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; ensure positive dining experience.
Communicate changes in resident condition to charge nurse and participate in care planning.
