Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at The Good Samaritan Sanford Health - Sioux Falls Center provides resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor and record vital signs, and support mobility and comfort for residents.

This full-time day-shift CNA role requires a CNA certification and a commitment to infection control. You will work 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 40 hours per week, with every other weekend rotation, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• CNA certification required and provided by facility or in process to obtain.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and CE credits (12 hrs/yr).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, grooming, and mobility.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support housekeeping and laundry; assist wellness and recreational activities.
