Job summary

Good Samaritan in Inver Grove Heights, MN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care under RN supervision. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meals, vital signs, and mobility, while following infection control and PPE guidelines.

Commitment includes 8 hours per week with day shifts, working with a caring team in a not-for-profit Christian environment and contributing to high-quality aging services.

Qualifications

• Must have Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board, or in process of obtaining certification.
• GED or high school diploma is acceptable.
• Willing to work weekends and vary shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist residents with meals and nutrition support.
• Document resident care and vital signs; communicate changes to nurses.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE protocols.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and range of motion.
• Support wellness and recreational activities for residents.
