Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift in Connecticut, 11pm–7am, with Friday and Saturday availability. The role centers on delivering warm, resident-centered care and documenting daily activity in partnership with the care team.

We welcome CNAs with a valid license; prior experience in skilled nursing or dementia care is preferred but not required. Training is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We're hiring Part Time on 3rd Shift, 11p-7a - Scheduled days available are Friday & Saturday.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
