Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Illinois to support daily resident care under nurse supervision.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with activities of daily living, and document care activities to ensure resident comfort and safety. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and strict adherence to infection control and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA on Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
• CPR certification must be valid.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs according to plan of care.
• Document plan of care including vitals, weights, I&O as required.
• Keep residents' rooms clean and free of clutter; provide transportation for activities/meals as needed.
• Report concerns or complaints to the appropriate supervisor and family when required.

CNA provides compassionate care to residents by assisting with daily care needs and maintaining resident comfort, safety, and dignity in accordance with facility policies and healthcare regulations under the general supervision of a nurse.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out and assist residents in ADL’sFollow plan of care as outlined in residents individual care planDocument plan of care as required; vitals, weights, I&O, etc. as outlined by the nursing departmentPractice proper infection control protocolsDocumentation is completed timely and accurateKeep residents’ room clean and free of clutterProvide transportation to activities and meals as requiredCarry out resident’s individual restorative plans as documentedReport all concerns, complaints made by the customer or their family to the appropriate person.Make rounds to assure residents are safe and comfortableIs efficient, minimizes overtime and processes resident charges timely and accuratelyMaintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the departmentParticipates in in-service education as requiredMaintain professional appearance and demeanor, observes dress code policyDemonstrate honesty and integrity, always does the right thing, is open, forthright, genuine, trustworthy and truthfulAll other duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience1.
