BrightStar Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for home care in the Berwyn/Chicago area. You will provide personal care, assist with transfers, and support clients with daily activities in their homes, under RN supervision.

Positions offer night shifts, days, weekends, and holidays with opportunities to work as much or as little as desired. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, Daily Pay access, GPS scheduling, free continuing education, and a wide network with over 250 locations

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a CNA program and CNA certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience with patients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Responsabilidades

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
• Take and record vital signs and height/weight if necessary.
• Assist client with range of motion as per care plan and report changes to DON.
• Assist client in walking and transportation to appointments, activities, and shopping.
• Maintain a safe care environment per policies and standards.
• Respect and protect client rights.

Hours: 7pm-7am AND 7pm-7am available daily

Pay: $19-$21/Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
• Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary
• Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing
• Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure client’s rights are adhered to

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
• Certification as a CNA
• Minimum 1 Year of experience working with patients with Alzheimer's/Dementia
• Certified CPR current and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Physical provided clearing you to do CNA type work
• Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiving experience is required
• Reliable Transportation to Downtown Chicago
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
