Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Unit Clerk to join our nursing team on the Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit. The Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit consists of 18 critical care beds and 17 step-down beds.

Staff care for post‑operative patients and those with traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, strokes and other neurological conditions. Schedule: 3 shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification Idaho or Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Six months patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services under supervision of licensed nurse.
