Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant for our 5C Trauma Med/Surg Unit on a temporary PRN basis. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

You will assist clinical staff with clerical tasks and patient services, and perform nursing care duties under the supervision of licensed nurses, caring for patients across age groups.

Qualifications

• CNA certification issued by the State of Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire unless ACLS/PALS are current.
• Six months CNA experience in acute care is preferred.
• Ability to care for patients across age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service tasks.
• Provide nursing care services and non-professional tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
