Ebenezer Jones-Harrison Senior Living in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAR) to support TCU/LTC residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This weekend evening position offers 15 hours every two weeks, with every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotation and attractive benefits.

Responsibilities include personal cares, vitals, charting, and responsive care under an individual care plan.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population.
• Preferred: Communicate efficiently with residents and coworkers.
• Preferred: Experience as HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant.
• Preferred: Work experience in a customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights.
• Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals.
• AM/PM/NOC cares, including peri care and catheter care.
• May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Charts or documents in electronic medical record system.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAR) to support our TCU/LTC residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility - Jones Harrison! This role provides hands on care and support services for our adult residents at our spacious care center in Minneapolis, MN near beautiful Cedar Lake in a residential neighborhood. This weekend, patient support position includes:

• 15 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift , evening shift pay
• Includes every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Chart or document in electronic medical record system
• Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
• Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
• Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner

Required

• Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date – OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezer’s Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Preferred
