Job summary

Salem Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical Telemetry Unit in Salem, Oregon. You will provide direct patient care on a fast-paced telemetry unit, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and supporting the nursing team.

Qualifications

Schedule:7:00 pm - 7:30 am, 12-hour shifts, variable scheduled days

Your role with us

As a certified nursing assistant on the medical telemetry unit at Salem Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team by providing direct patient care to individuals requiring continuous monitoring. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility; obtaining and recording vital signs; monitoring input and output; and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff. CNAs in telemetry must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and demonstrate strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills. Your empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills help create a healing environment and build meaningful connections with patients and families.
