Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical Telemetry Unit at Salem Hospital. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff on a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.
Full-time position, 36 hours per week, non-exempt with 7:00 pm–7:30 am shifts in Salem, Oregon. Requires an Oregon CNA license and BLS; includes benefits and growth opportunities.

As a certified nursing assistant on the medical telemetry unit at Salem Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team by providing direct patient care to individuals requiring continuous monitoring. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility; obtaining and recording vital signs; monitoring input and output; and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff. CNAs in telemetry must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and demonstrate strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills. Your empathy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills help create a healing environment and build meaningful connections with patients and families.
