Job summary

Royal Health Group is seeking a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Meadow View Nursing in North Reading, MA. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support nursing staff in hospice care, ensuring a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by the State and able to provide resident care.
• Strong compassion and communication with residents and families.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and resident privacy protections.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely and effectively.
• Experience in nursing facilities or hospice care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Respond promptly in emergencies and provide hospice care support when needed.
• Assist nursing staff in delivering hospice care to terminally ill residents.
• Lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document resident information accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive resident care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

• Provide support in emergency situations by responding promptly to resident's needs.
• Assist nursing staff in providing hospice care for terminally ill patients.
• Help lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document residents' information accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.

SKILLS

• Must be Certified by the State
• Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
• Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
