Job summary

AuthentiCare Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Caring Family in providing high-quality long-term, sub-acute, and memory care. You will play a critical role in daily living activities, vital sign monitoring, and emergency response within our skilled nursing facilities.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Understanding of resident care principles and practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
• Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor vital signs and document them.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs in emergencies.
• Assist nursing staff in hospice care of terminally ill patients.
• Help lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Document residents' information accurately and in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive resident care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but not limited to:

SKILLS

• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
