AuthentiCare Health Centers is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring family. You will provide essential long-term, sub-acute, and memory care, supporting residents with daily activities and vital signs while prioritizing dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active credentials.
• Experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or memory care.
• Strong clinical skills and resident-centered care commitment.
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs in emergencies.
• Assist nursing staff with hospice care for terminally ill residents.
• Help lift and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document residents’ information accurately while complying with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive resident care.

SKILLS

• Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
