Royal Megansett Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional resident care in our skilled nursing and memory care settings. This role supports daily living activities, monitors vital signs, documents care, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure dignity and comfort.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active license.
• Experience in long-term care or memory care preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately, in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Strong communication and compassionate bedside manner.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative healthcare team.
• Capable of monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Provide support in emergency situations and respond promptly to residents' needs.
• Assist with hospice and palliative care as part of the nursing team.
• Lift and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, infection-controlled environment and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive resident care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but not limited to:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
• Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
