Job summary

AuthentiCare Health Centers is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring family in Lawrence, MA. The CNA will provide high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing setting, supporting daily living activities and collaborating with the health care team.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program to support personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate resident-centered care, including memory care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Respond promptly in emergencies to support residents’ needs.
• Assist nursing staff in providing hospice care for terminally ill patients.
• Help lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Document residents’ information accurately while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive resident care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but not limited to:

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
• Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
