Job summary

Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a compassionate CNA-M (Med Tech) to join our care team on a 12-hour shift (5:45a–6:15p) in Waterville, ME. This full-time role involves med cart management and supporting residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being on the floor.

You will record MAR entries, verify residents with the photo card, and report changes to the Charge Nurse. Strong communication and the ability to lift/move residents are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report all changes in resident's condition to the Charge Nurse as soon as practical.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA-M (Med Tech) to join our team at Mount Joseph at Waterville. This is a full-time position on our 5:45a to 6:15p 12-hour shift. This role is primarily floor based, with med cart assignments regularly scheduled based on staffing needs. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of our residents.

Purpose of Your Job Position:

The primary purpose of your job position is to administer medications on your assigned unit in accordance with established procedures and perform other duties as may be directed by your supervisor to assure an on-going program of care designed to meet the comprehensive assessment of each resident's needs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record all entries on Medication Administration Record (MAR)
• Use the photo card in vision to identify residents before administering medications, fluids, etc., as necessary
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift that they occur
• Use only authorized abbreviations established by this facility when recording information
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Charge Nurse as soon as practical

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant - Medication (CNA-M) certification
