Job summary

Elm Management is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Mount Joseph at Waterville on the day shift. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

We offer a $3,500 sign-on bonus, a 5:45a–6:15p shift, generous weekend differentials, paid time off starting at 2 weeks per year, and room for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid certification.

• Able to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely according to safety precautions.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Mount Joseph at Waterville. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Elders with daily living functions, such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to expressed preference.

• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.

• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.

• Provide daily Range of Motion Exercises.

• Answer Resident calls promptly.

• Follow established safety precautions in the performance of all duties (i.e., exposure to body fluids, lifting, transferring, use and disposal of personal protective equipment).

• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., gait belt, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving residents in accordance with plan of care.
