Job summary

Waters of Greencastle, The, LLC is seeking a CNA Training Program Instructor (RN/LPN) to oversee and advance the Certified Nursing Assistant program. You will manage accreditation, collaborate with clinical agencies, and develop curriculum within the Nursing department.

The role requires Indiana RN or LPN licensure and prior nursing education experience. Expect a demanding schedule with teaching duties, budget oversight, and active participation in committees and community relations.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure in Indiana.
• Experience as instructor in a nursing education program, including teaching courses, managing learning experiences, evaluating student achievement, and contributing to curriculum development.
• Knowledge of education methods, administration, and current accreditation and licensing procedures.
• Ability to analyze programs and make recommendations regarding operations and responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a team-based environment; proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Organize, administer, review, plan, develop, and oversee the CNA program.
• Maintain Nursing program accreditation through the Indiana Board of Nursing.
• Develop affiliations with clinical agencies and ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop curriculum and enhance instruction within the Nursing department; teach courses where applicable.
• Prepare and monitor the Nursing program budget; purchase equipment and supplies; maintain student lab.
• Participate in academic and professional development, departmental and college committees.
• Promote public relations for the school and Nursing through community involvement.
• Respond to internal and external students, clients, faculty, and vendors during business hours.
• Demonstrate independent judgement in position-related decisions.
• Maintain required training, licensure, and certification.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged information and adherence to privacy laws.
• Demonstrate sensitivity toward diverse populations in the workplace.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends as needed.
