Job summary

The Waters in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an experienced CNA Instructor in Training to lead and supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant program. The role focuses on maintaining accreditation, developing curriculum, and coordinating clinical affiliations with partner facilities.

The ideal candidate holds an IN RN or LPN license and has prior nursing education experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a team setting.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Indiana.
• Experience teaching in a nursing education program.
• Knowledge of accreditation and licensing procedures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a team-based environment.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organization and administration of the CNA program.
• Maintain accreditation with the Indiana Board of Nursing.
• Develop and maintain affiliations with clinical agencies.
• Develop curriculum and enhance instruction within the Nursing department.
• Prepare and monitor the Nursing program budget and labs.
• Participate in committees and professional development.
• Promote public relations for the program in the community.
• Respond to students, faculty, and vendors during business hours.
• Demonstrate independent judgement in position-related decisions.
• Maintain required training, licensure, and certification.
