Job summary

Illinois Nursing Academy seeks a BNATP Instructor to deliver comprehensive CNA training, combining classroom instruction with hands-on clinical practice. The role ensures students acquire knowledge and skills to pass the state CNA exam and succeed in healthcare roles.

The instructor will develop curriculum, lead engaging lectures, supervise clinical skills, and assess student progress while maintaining accurate records. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CNA or in a related nursing role.
• Train the Trainer Course Completion.
• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Proficiency in using educational software for teaching purposes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state regulations and program curriculum.
• Deliver lectures on nursing and patient care topics.
