Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a PCT/CNA-Float to provide safe basic patient care across hospitals in the I-80 region. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, collecting specimens, and monitoring patients for changes.

This hourly position offers a shift differential of $2.25/hour for 3rd shift and requires CNA certification and CPR. You will document patient information, communicate with the Patient Care Team, and float to multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

• CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant required.
• CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Position Summary

The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various hospitals and deparmtents in the I-80 region.

Overview

$2.25/hour for 3rd shift differential

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Experience
• 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
