Job summary

The PCT/CNA-Float at OSF HealthCare provides basic safe patient care, including vital signs, activities of daily living, specimen collection, and monitoring for changes. Duties may include charting and coordinating with the Patient Care Team to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires floating to various hospitals and departments in the I-80 region; it is an hourly position with compensation based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
• CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
• Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
• 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients

Responsibilities

• The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes.
• Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed.
• This position requires floating to various hospitals and deparmtents in the I-80 region.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
