• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Current state certification (or registration) as a CNA.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during care
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding
• Performs homemaking and environmental services
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient's status
• Follows written instructions for personal care from the nurse
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises
• Performs and records simple urine tests
• Other duties as assigned
