Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) to join the Kansas Home Care Team based in Overland Park. This role delivers high-quality hospice care, comfort, and education to patients and families in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate has MO/KS CNA licenses and CPR certification; hospice experience is preferred. Work hours are weekdays with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Valid Missouri and Kansas CNA license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year hospice care experience preferred.

Position Description:

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our interdisciplinary hospice team in providing high quality, expert care to our seriously ill patients. Our CNA is a vital part of our hospice team providing comfort, care, support and education to our patients and their loved ones.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:

• Valid, unencumbered Missouri and Kansas CNA license
• Satisfactorily passes Home Health Aide (HHA) testing as provided by agency
• Minimum of one year experience in caring for hospice patients is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others; actively seeking to resolve concerns in a timely manner
• Ability to provide assistance with ambulation, range of motion exercises, elimination needs and eating
• Reliable transportation
• CPR certification required
