Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary home care team in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will hold a Missouri and Kansas CNA license, CPR certification, and have excellent communication skills to support patients and families with comfort, dignity, and education.

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered Missouri and Kansas CNA license.
• Satisfactorily passes Hospice Aide testing as provided by agency.
• Minimum of one year experience in caring for hospice patients is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others; actively seeking to resolve concerns in a timely manner.
• Ability to provide assistance with ambulation, range of motion exercises, elimination needs and eating.
• Valid driver’s license; Reliable transportation.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, expert care to seriously ill patients as part of the hospice team.
• Support patients and families with comfort, care, and education.
