Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary home care team in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will hold a Missouri and Kansas CNA license, CPR certification, and have excellent communication skills to support patients and families with comfort, dignity, and education.

Qualifications

Valid, unencumbered Missouri and Kansas CNA license.
Satisfactorily passes Hospice Aide testing as provided by agency.
Minimum of one year experience in caring for hospice patients is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others; actively seeking to resolve concerns in a timely manner.
Ability to provide assistance with ambulation, range of motion exercises, elimination needs and eating.
Valid driver’s license; Reliable transportation.
CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality, expert care to seriously ill patients as part of the hospice team.
Support patients and families with comfort, care, and education.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient and family care.
Assist with activities of daily living and documentation of patient needs.
