Interim HealthCare of NE Florida is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide/Caregiver in DeLand, FL 32724 to help seniors live safely at home. You’ll assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and support medical needs under supervision.

Qualificações

• CNA License or HHA Certificate required or preferred.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid FL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support for seniors in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals and light housekeeping.
• Help with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client status for supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

As a Home Health Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• CNA License or HHA Certificate
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid FL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
