Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and support to seniors living at home. You will assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, and companionship, while maintaining a safe home environment.

The role offers 1:1 client ratios, ability to set your schedule, online training with CEUs, and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University.

Qualifications

• CNA License or HHA Certificate (must-have)
• Six months in a healthcare role (preferred)
• CPR certification (required)
• Valid FL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors living at home
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and ROM exercises
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies)
