Job summary

CareGivers America is hiring a Pediatric Caregiver in Sullivan County. This is an in-home, one-on-one caregiving role with training provided to become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA). No prior experience required, and we’ll train you to support children and their families.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, supporting IEPs/BIPs, and promoting skill development in a safe home setting. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are available.

• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support IEPs and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment
• Occasionally assist with standing, walking, lifting, and daily activities as needed

Job Requirements:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) certificate preferred
• Willingness to work in Laporte
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients location

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting

• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
