Job summary

CareGivers America in Sullivan County is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Caregiver to provide 1:1 in-home care for children. Training will be provided, and you’ll support daily living, skill development, and behavior supports in a safe setting.

No experience required; we’ll train you to become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA). This is meaningful work with opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred.
• Willingness to work in Laporte.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients location.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed.
• Implement and support IEPs and BIPs.
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment.
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities and occasional lifting.
