Job summary

CareGivers America in Kentucky is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home, one-on-one support for children. No experience is required—we'll train you and help you become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

This role offers paid training, flexible schedules, and benefits, with opportunities to grow while making a real difference in a child's daily life in Monroe County.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred.
• No experience needed; training provided to become a certified HHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in in-home settings.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene and meals.
• Support IEPs and behavior plans for each child.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities to promote skill development.
• Encourage positive behavior and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting


• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed


• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)


• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development


• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment


• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
