Job summary

Aperion Care Peru Estates in Carroll, IA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential resident care, assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, and comfort while maintaining privacy and dignity.

The CNA will monitor vital signs, document care, report observations, follow HIPAA guidelines, and participate in ongoing education to maintain certification. Part-time positions are available without benefits; full-time roles include benefits.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to pursue additional state-required training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under licensed scope and assigned duties.
• Know residents and care plans, provide person-centered care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meals, and social activities.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to clinical leaders.
• Care for residents with dementia appropriately.
• Take on other tasks within knowledge and experience.
