Job summary

Ninacare in San Diego, CA is hiring dependable CNAs for full‑time, on‑site patient and resident care. You will assist with daily living activities, support mobility, monitor health, and document observations under licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications include CA CNA certification, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of CNA experience in relevant settings. Compensation ranges hourly with benefits and shift differentials where offered.

Qualifications

• Current, active California CNA certification in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before first shift; AHA BLS preferred.
• At least 1 year CNA experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, rehabilitation or acute care.
• Clear English communication for patient safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, hydration).
• Support safe mobility, ambulation, transfers and repositioning with approved techniques and equipment.
• Obtain and document routine vital signs and intake/output; report unusual findings.
• Observe changes in comfort, skin condition, mobility, or well‑being and escalate as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy, infection‑control practices, room readiness, and clean care areas.
• Complete care records accurately and on time following care plans and CNA scope.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team with professionalism and empathy.
