Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team to enhance seniors’ lives through in-home care.

You will work one-on-one with clients, supporting daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, and medications while building meaningful relationships with seniors who wish to age in place at home. We offer flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team dedicated to empathy, excellence and integrity in care.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care preferred.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate heart for older adults.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship and client engagement.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
