Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our in-home care team, providing one-on-one support to seniors who wish to age in place. You will deliver a range of daily living assistance with empathy, excellence, and integrity, working with clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Must be physically able to lift/push/pull ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship and in-home care to seniors.
• Assist with daily living activities: feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
