Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our in-home care team serving seniors in Northwest Indiana. You will provide one-on-one care, support daily living activities, and help clients age in place with empathy and integrity.

We offer flexible full- or part-time schedules, mileage reimbursement between shifts, referral bonuses, and opportunities for advancement. Training and uniforms are provided to support your commitment to high-quality home care.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Proof of current, negative TB test as required by Indiana.
• Must be physically able to lift, push and pull about 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship and relationship-building with seniors.
• Assist with daily living tasks: feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
