Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in long-term care and assisted living settings.

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and assist with meals and hydration while adhering to care plans and safety protocols. Opportunities include PRN, part-time and full-time contracts with DAY, EVE, and NOC shifts.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required in SD or via reciprocity/endorsement
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous CNA experience preferred
• Able to adapt to different facilities and resident needs
• Maintain required certifications and onboarding procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
• Record vital signs and document care
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dietary needs
• Provide emotional support and promote comfort, dignity and independence
• Follow infection prevention protocols and facility policies
• Communicate important information to nursing staff and healthcare team
• Perform other duties within CNA scope as required
