Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and follow care plans under the supervision of nursing staff. The role offers PRN/Part-Time/Full-Time opportunities with DAYS, EVES, or NOC shifts, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active South Dakota CNA certification or reciprocity/endorsement eligibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous CNA experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to different facility environments and resident needs.
• Must meet pre-employment screenings and onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and personal hygiene.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and following individual care plans.
• Provide emotional support and promote residents' comfort and dignity.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and safety procedures.
• Document care provided and communicate information to the health care team.
