Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our home care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and work under nursing supervision to support comfort and independence.

We offer flexible contracts (PRN, Part Time, Full Time) with scheduling via app, 24/7 on-call support, and eligible benefits. Prior CNA experience is preferred, and certification must be active or via reciprocity.

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or eligibility via reciprocity
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous CNA experience preferred
Ability to adapt to different facility environments and resident needs
Maintain required certifications and onboarding procedures

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene
Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, behaviors, or overall well-being to nursing staff
Measuring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations) as assigned
Assisting with meals, feeding, and hydration per care plans and dietary requirements
Providing emotional support and promoting residents’ comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life
Following infection prevention protocols and facility policies and safety procedures
Documenting care provided and communicating important information to nursing staff and other team members
Performing other duties within CNA scope and facility requirements
