Job summary
Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.
You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to nursing staff while following care plans and infection control procedures. The role offers flexible scheduling through our smartphone app (PRN, part-time, full-time), 24/7 on-call support, health insurance, Aflac
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in South Dakota or ability to obtain via reciprocity/endorsement.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous CNA experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt to different facility environments and resident needs.
- Maintain all required certifications and standards.
- Complete required pre-employment screenings and onboarding procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in long‑term care facilities and assisted living communities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
- Assist with meals, feeding and hydration per care plans.
- Provide emotional support and promote comfort, dignity and independence.
- Follow infection prevention protocols and facility safety procedures.
- Document care provided and communicate with the nursing team.
