Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Successful completion of a State-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program within 4 months of hire.
• Acceptable verification from the State Nurse Aide Registry regarding abuse, neglect or misappropriation.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care such as bathing, feeding and assisting with ADLs.
• Maintains beds, cleanliness, and nourishment distributions.
• Assists with planning, implementing and evaluating plans of care and reports changes to Unit Charge Nurse.
• Follows infection control policies and uses PPE as indicated.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and maintains confidentiality.
• Demonstrates integrity, prioritization and professional conduct in all duties.
