Job summary

Trinity Community at Fairborn, operated by United Church Homes, Inc., seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality resident care. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and rehabilitation support, while maintaining safety and dignity for each resident.

You will document care, report changes to the nursing team, and participate in care planning. Experience in dementia care and a commitment to continuing education are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a state-approved Nursing Assistant program.
• Must obtain and maintain mandatory state and federal requirements.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Must be able to operate Sit to Stand, Hoyer Lift, Gait belts, tub chairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, hygiene and feeding as needed.
• Assist with meals at mealtimes and ensure residents are properly hydrated.
• Assist with lifting, positioning and transporting residents safely.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units, treatment and supply rooms, and linen areas.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain safety for residents.
