Job summary

Trinity Community at Beavercreek, part of United Church Homes, Inc., seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care, focusing on ADL and rehabilitation activities. You will report for duty, assist with meals, bathing, mobility, and safety, and support a dignified living environment.

Ideal candidates have a state-approved CNA program, English proficiency, and a willingness to work in a dementia care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program; must obtain and maintain mandatory state and federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation.
• Ability to use computer for charting purposes; operate basic office equipment.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
• Ability to operate Sit to Stand, Hoyer Lift, Gait belts, tub chairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, hygiene and meals.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering, and drape residents as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and support areas; ensure safety and infection control.
• Assist with mobility and positioning, assist with therapy as directed.
• Record I&Os and care notes accurately at point of care; report changes promptly.
