Job summary

Trinity Community at Fairborn is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA) to provide compassionate care to residents, assist with ADLs, meals, hygiene, and mobility, and support rehabilitation activities.

The role involves reporting, following care plans, documenting care, ensuring safety, infection control, and collaborating with nursing staff to maintain residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• State-approved Nursing Assistant program completion mandatory; maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers safely.
• Explain procedures to residents and prepare them for examinations.
• Document care and observations accurately at point of care.
• Maintain infection control and safe handling of linen and supplies.
• Ensure call lights are answered promptly and residents are comfortable.
• Participate in care conferences and implement individual care plans.
