Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking dedicated CNAs to coordinate and provide safe resident transport to medical appointments in a long-term care setting. You will work under licensed nursing supervision to ensure timely, accurate transport of residents.

Responsibilities include scheduling, safeguarding residents during transit, and communicating any changes in condition to the clinical team. Relevant CNA credentials and CPR/BLS are valued for patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the state you are applying.
• Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program preferred but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Organizes transportation of residents to appointments based on priority.
• Transports residents to inpatient/outpatient programs and other facilities.
• Develops driving schedule according to resident appointments and destinations.
• Reports changes in resident status and vital signs during transport to supervisor.
• Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintains safety and vehicle condition; logs mileage and upkeep.
