Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, maintaining vehicle safety, and documenting transport logs. Requires active Florida CNA license and a clean driving record, with preferred experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Previous medical transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments and other approved destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including wheelchair and stretcher transport when required.
• Secure residents and mobility equipment in transport vehicles according to safety protocols.
• Monitor residents during transport and report any changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic inspections, and report maintenance issues.
• Complete transportation logs and documentation accurately.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility transfers.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times.
