Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will participate in basic clinical tasks, assist with daily activities, and support the patient care team to ensure efficient service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a VA CNA license, BLS CPR, and at least one year of acute care experience; willingness to work evenings, nights, or weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• At least one year of acute care experience required; or six months in RN program with clinicals.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with routine activities of daily living.
• Performs ROM, ambulation, positioning, hygiene care.
• Transports patients and preps for tests.
• Documents patient care and data in EMR.
• Assists with intake, registration, and equipment coordination.
